I had the pleasure of visiting Tunis earlier this month to participate in the annual Corporate Registries Forum (CRF) with two of my colleagues - an event that brought together corporate registry leaders, policymakers, legal experts, and representatives from international organisations. It was an incredibly valuable opportunity to connect with those at the heart of corporate registry operations and to discuss the future of global data collaboration.
I first travelled around Tunisia in 1999, and it was remarkable to see how much the country has evolved over the last two and a half decades. From economic reforms and technological adoption to the modernisation of administrative systems, Tunisia has made significant strides in creating a more open, innovative, and business-friendly environment. Visiting now, I was struck by how these changes have positioned the country as a hub for regional dialogue on corporate transparency and cross-border cooperation.
Being part of CRF Tunisia was particularly important because it allowed me to engage directly with the registries that provide the foundational data for Diligencia’s proprietary database, available via ClarifiedBy or API. These discussions were positive and constructive, highlighting the willingness of registries to collaborate and share best practices, which is crucial for improving global corporate data quality and accessibility.
CRF Tunisia 2025 was a reminder of the immense value of coming together as a global registry community. The conversations I had, the insights shared, and the connections made are all vital as we continue to enhance the quality, reliability, and accessibility of corporate data. I look forward to continuing these collaborations and seeing how Tunisia and other countries continue to innovate in the years ahead.
